Calendar 2009 and composition contest.

Saturday 7th Feb 2009

The Schillinger System is having a big revival of interest and this year there are more events than ever before. The University of Hertfordshire is now the home of Schillinger studies offering validated courses and a variety of workshops. Over the last few years, we have become aware of people all over the world whose musical life is enhanced by this specialist musical knowledge and regularly put it into practice.
2009 is going to be a busy year. Here is the calendar in a nutshell:
Thursdays 1800-2000 Music Masters (Schillinger techniques) at Imperial College London
Come along and use these sessions to feed into the workshop events.
Thursday 7th May, Vestry Hall Ranelagh Road Ealing, W5 5RJ 11-13.00, The Schillinger ensemble-live composition forum.
Wednesday 20 May University of Hertfordshire, John Lill music centre.
1400-1700 workshop/lecture demo Dr J. Arden
1800-2000 The Fidelio trio play new music composed using the Schillinger System.

We are delighted to announce that the chosen composition will be performed on the 20th May during the University of Hertfordshire’s Mayfest celebrations by the leading ensemble the Fidelio Trio.
